Light Up Your Season: New Events for Burlington’s Festival of Lights 2025

The lights are back at Spencer Smith Park from November 28 – January 6, and this year you can extend the magic just a short stroll away at the Burlington Lions Club Hall (471 Pearl St.) with a cozy lineup of indoor events. Warm up, grab a hot chocolate, and make a full day (and night) of it. Free onsite parking at the Hall makes it easy.

Festival of Lights at Spencer Smith Park

Burlington’s waterfront transforms into a glowing winter walkway, with illuminated displays, shimmering trees, and sparkling vistas along the lake. Stroll the promenade, take in the colours, and make a photo stop under the brightest arches and along the pier—perfect for families, date nights, and out-of-town guests.


Jingle Market + Holiday Gift Wrapping

Sat, Dec 6 | 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Lions Club Hall


Shop unique gifts, handmade treasures, and festive treats from local vendors—then make it a stress-free day by bringing your Downtown purchases to us for complimentary wrapping at the Hall. Take care of your list and leave with beautifully wrapped packages, with donations accepted on behalf of the Burlington Lions Club.

Parade Day Pop-Up


Sun, Dec 7 | 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Lions Club Hall


Use the Hall as your Parade Day home base—warm up, access indoor washrooms, and enjoy festive fun just steps from the route. All activities at the Lions Club Hall are free (no tickets required).



What’s on:

  • Meet The Grinch: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

  • Santa Visits: 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.

  • Live Ice Sculpture Carving: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Plus: hot cocoa, food trucks, crafts, games, and frosty photo ops

Holly Jolly Tea — Seniors’ Holiday Social

A warm, welcoming holiday tea for seniors with sweet treats and a special live seasonal performance. Space is limited—registration required.





Holiday Hoedown

Kick up your boots at our Holiday Hoedown! This festive line dancing event mixes seasonal cheer with country flair, perfect for a fun and lively night out. Featuring: The Urban Cowboy Tickets $15 cash at the door.

Jingle Beats Silent Disco
